I’d actually thought this was an urban legend but after seeing it mentioned it today’s Keith Knight comic ( http://www.kchronicles.com/comics/2010-04-24_civet_coffee.gif ) I Googled around only to find it WAS, in fact, real and you can pay between $100 and $600 a pound. About the only good that can come of this is it makes for a good excuse to buy that cool $200 R2-D2. Here’s how I’d reply, “Yeah, sure it’s obscene to pay that much for a robot but at least it wasn’t crapped out of a cat sized mammal!”
